Chief of Russia Muslim Population in his attending in the Razavi holy shrine said, “Services and functions of Astan Quds Razavi can provide for better interaction between Sunni and Shi’a and their proximity.”
Abd al-Rashid from Tambovsky, Russia along with a group of Russian Muftis (religious leaders) got acquainted with the function of Astan Quds Razavi Organization after going on a pilgrimage.
In the margin of this visitation, he remarked, “The extensive, diverse, and honorable function of Astan Quds Razavi on different domains blessed by the presence of Imam Reza (A.S.) enjoys an absolutely spiritual space.”
Proclaiming that Mashhad city and the holy shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.) is one of the greatest and most magnificent sacred premises in the globe, Abd al-Rashid asserted, “I found a peculiar feeling of tranquility after visiting the holy shrine that is indescribable and I thank God for granting me the success of being invited to this holy shrine.”
Referring to the Dahe-ye Fajr and the celebration of revolution victory, he added, “Islamic revolution of Iran led by Imam Khomeini (R.A.), who would highlight the unity of the Islamic community, had a significant effect on the changes of the world.”
Noting that he has done intensive studies about the victory of the Islamic revolution and the Iranian culture, Chief of Russia Muslim Population pointed out, “Islamic revolution by its philanthropic goals fought against tyranny, Imperialism, and despotism and offered a prescription of peace and justice on the earth.”
Stressing on further interaction and unity between the Shi’a and Sunni he reiterated, “Unity among the Shi’a and Sunni is a must and we should always keep interaction with each other.”
This group of pilgrims benefited from such services as the holy shrine tour, show of film, introduction of the holy shrine in Russian, lecture and question and answer sessions, visitation of the central museum and the museum of carpet, and dedication of cultural and blessed packages.
