Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani called for the vigilance of the Shiite and Sunni Muslims not be deceived by the plots hatched by the global arrogance and Zionism.
“Iran is an influential country in the region and we move towards achieving the unity of Muslims and believe that Muslims should be trapped in the plots of the arrogant powers and global Zionism to create rift between the Shiite and Sunni,” Larijani said on Monday night.
Larijani condemned any form of violence against people across the world, and reiterated that extremism and violence have nothing to do with the real nature of Islam.
He further added that extremism will harm all divine religious and it requires collective contribution between world religions to help uproot it.
